Weight Loss & Management
We deliver an integrated weight management service to improve a patient's health and quality of life. The service provides psychological support and makes behavioral interventions, as well as interventions to increase physical activity and improve diet.
Typhoid - vaccination
This is a private (paid for) service from your Pharmacist for one typhoid injection or three capsules – both offer protection against typhoid for three years.
Travel Advice
If you are planning on travelling outside of the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world. Please contact us to confirm your specific needs.
Tetanus, diphtheria and polio (DTP) - vaccination
This is a private (paid for) service from your Pharmacist for one dose of DTP vaccine – you only need one injection as a booster.
Rabies - vaccination
This is a private (paid for) service from your Pharmacist for one dose of rabies vaccine. A full course is three doses.
NHS Pneumococcal vaccination
This is a free NHS service for a single pneumococcal vaccination. Over-65s only need a single vaccination. People with some long-term health conditions may need a single vaccine or vaccination every five years, depending on their health problem.
NHS Flu vaccination AT RISK GROUPS
Seasonal Influenza (Flu) vaccination is available every year to help protect both adults and children at risk of flu and its complications
New Medicine Service
Providing support for patients diagnosed with a long term condition who have a newly prescribed medicine. To help improve your adherence and your understanding of the medicine generally leading to better health outcomes.
Needle and Syringe Exchange
This service provides access to sterile needles and syringes along with a sharps container for the return of used equipment. This promotes a safe injection practice.
Meningococcal (meningitis) (ACWY) - vaccination
If you're heading to a high risk country, it's good to be informed about meningococcal ACWY. For a free assessment, expert advice, and access to vaccinations and anti-malarials, book an appointment online. Ideally, this should be six to eight weeks before departure, but it’s never too late to seek advice if you're leaving sooner. Please note the service is only available to those who travel abroad, and this vaccination can only be offered to those who it is suitable for, who are travelling to an area where meningitis ACWY is recommended to protect travellers.
